April 2012 Desktop Wallpaper – Colorado Sunflower Field

April 2012 Desktop Wallpaper

The eastern plains of Colorado do not get near as much attention as the Rocky Mountains to the west, but each August the eastern crops of Colorado are greeted with fields upon fields of sunflowers. They are only fully blossomed for around one week out of the year, so catching them at the right time is tough. It’s truly a unique site when the sea of yellow goes on for further than the eye can see, only to come to a stop at the foot of the best mountains in the US.

Hi Casey – Happy Fourth. I stumbled upon your website and I wanted to see if it would be ok if I used one of your sunflower images. It is not for commercial use or for profit – I am an industrial and packaging designer (currently looking for full-time work) and what I like to do is put together case studies and use some visual stimulus to help flavor my presentation. I worked on the allergy product flonase – and I was doing a search for allergy type visuals (flowers, pollen, sunflower fields, etc..) and one of your images came up that I liked. It will not be tied to anything to do with the product – it is just a cover page I’d like to use. If this isn’t ok I understand, but did want to ask your permission.

    Thank you,

    Lenny
