Desolation Print

This capture is likely my proudest image I've ever captured. Shot in 2014, it was one of those days where the perfect conditions all came together and I can remember clearly standing on this shoreline to this day. The Lost Coast is one of California's most wild locations. Here, the delicate vegetation does not allow for a road to run along the highway and the coastline remains free of the crowds and storefronts that you see more often in southern California. Animals are abundant and the ocean is turbulent. I wanted to reflect this feeling in this capture.
